Role Players

After-School Prevention Programs offer:

  • Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Prevention Services to youth ages 10-17.

  • Free prevention services in the following 17 Indiana counties: Adams, Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Franklin, Fulton Grant, Henry, Huntington, Jay, Miami, Randolph, Rush, Union, Wabash, Wayne, Wells.

  • Fun and safe activities!

  • A minimum of six of the following Supportive Activities  (Recreational Activities, Social Etiquette Development, Communication Skills Development, Leadership Service Programs, Arts and Crafts, Stress Management, Cultural Awareness programs, Peer Mentoring Programs, Academic Skills Development, Job Skills Development and Development of Specific Skills). The youth choose two of the supportive activities offered in their program in which they would like to participate.

  • Programs also include two Focused activities of the following activities: Awareness of Advertising Pressures, Awareness of Peer and Social Influences, Gang Prevention Programs, Conflict Resolution, Structuring Leisure Time to be Alcohol, Tobacco and Drug-Free and Violence Prevention Program.
