The
mission of Family Services is to support, nurture, revitalize,
educate, and give hope to people in need throughout their life
cycle.
Family
Services is
a growing non-profit organization working to put families
first in our community. Positioned on both sides of the
fence, we have a diversity of services to serve
people in crisis and to focus on prevention of family
strife.
We work to help women and children experiencing
violence in their homes, and we work with those who abuse, as
well, to prevent further harm. We work with adults whose
shattered lives need to be pieced back together, and we work
with young people to prevent breaking down of what needs to
be built up. We, at Family
Services, work to make children's lives better and try
hard to remember that the adults were once children, too.
Whether it is
prevention of the use of alcohol, tobacco or other drugs,
shelter for an abused woman and her children, or making reassurance calls to the
elderly, Family Services is committed to helping families
remain or become healthy and happy.
Our team can meet a
variety of needs, and will do so with sensitivity, integrity
